The South-West Lake Maxinkuckee Conservancy District provides sewer disposal services to properties along the shore of Lake Maxinkuckee starting from the southern edge of the Town of Culver down to and including the Venetian Village area. It was established in 2006 and has been fully operational since December 2012.
TO AVOID BLOCKAGES AND DAMAGE TO YOUR PUMP, THE FOLLOWING ITEMS SHOULD NOT BE PLACED INTO THE SYSTEM:
GLASS • METAL • GRAVEL • SAND • COFFEE GRINDS • SEAFOOD SHELLS • SOCKS • RAGS OR CLOTHS • PLASTIC SANITARY NAPKINS OR TAMPONS • DISPOSABLE DIAPERS • KITTY LITTER • EXPLOSIVES • FLAMMABLE MATERIALS • LUBRICATING OIL • GREASE, COOKING OIL • PAINT • STRONG CHEMICALS • GASOLINE OR DIESEL • STORMWATER RUNOFF
IF YOU ARE TAKING DOWN YOUR HOUSE, IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO INFORM THE DISTRICT BY CALLING Operations Manager Kathy Clark at 574-400-5450.
IF YOU MOVE THE LOCATION OF YOUR HOUSE ON YOUR LOT, WHICH RESULTS IN RELOCATING THE SEWER LINE, IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT YOU HAVE YOUR SEWER LINE INSPECTED AGAIN BEFORE BURYING THE PIPE, OR YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO DIG IT BACK UP FOR INSPECTION. ALL CONTRACTORS TOUCHING THE SEWER LINE FROM THE PUMP TO THE HOUSE MUST SUPPLY THE DISTRICT WITH AN INSURANCE RIDER!
IF YOU DO NOT, YOU WILL BE BILLED IN FULL UNTIL SUCH TIME THAT YOU DO INFORM THE DISTRICT OFFICE. NO REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED.
Again, if you have questions you may call the Operations Manager at 574-400-5450. PLEASE LEAVE YOUR NAME AND PHONE NUMBER AS THIS LINE DOESN'T RECORD YOUR INCOMING CALLS!
